Distinctive Services
As a full-service medical center, Littleton Adventist Hospital is known for its diverse programs and services:
- A growing cardiac program that includes a cardiac diagnostics lab, cardiac catheterization lab and nationally accredited Chest Pain Center.
- Emergency and Trauma Services, including a Level II Trauma Center with 24 acute care beds, five trauma suites and trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopaedists and anesthesiologists, in addition to emergency physicians, who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Littleton is the only trauma center in Colorado to use Statscan, a low-dose, digital X-ray system that can take images of the entire body in 13 seconds. This life-saving device provides critical information necessary to detect trauma-related injuries that may not be immediately apparent.
- Comprehensive medical imaging services include angiography, CT, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine and ultrasound.
- Private patient rooms large enough to accommodate the patient's family
- A premier provider of neurosciences services in south metro Denver, Littleton Hospital offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the central nervous system.
- A dedicated pediatric unit, including a pediatric intensive care unit. Children’s After Hours Care Center, in conjunction with The Children’s Hospital, provides expert emergency care for kids after hours.
- Surgical Services uses its 14-bed admitting area, 12-bed post-anesthesia area, two-room endoscopy lab/minor procedure area and state-of-the-art operating rooms to perform more than 10,000 procedures each year.
- A full range of services for women and newborns, including The BirthPlace for labor and delivery. The Perinatal Care Center is dedicated to high-risk pregnancies and the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides critical care for the tiniest babies.

Expanding Service
- To better serve the needs of south metro Denver’s growing community, Littleton Adventist Hospital underwent a $365-million expansion project to add 24 ICU beds and 32 medical/surgical beds, bringing the total bed count to 231, to support the hospital’s Level II trauma services, surgical and neurological services.

- Littleton Adventist Hospital is proud to participate in the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) 100K Lives Campaign to improve patient care practices and outcomes.
- Littleton Adventist Hospital is proud to support the Greater Littleton Youth Initiative (GLYI) by contributing $150,000 over a three year period to The Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), two, comprehensive, community-based suicide prevention education and training programs targeting at-risk youth.
